When we are not utilizing our venue for our own creative programming, we open our doors to the community for private rentals.

We are in the heart of Fort Wayne’s Near North, surrounded by some of the Fort’s most loyal and “local” neighborhoods (East State Village, Northside, Lakeside, Francis Slocum, and more). We are on the unique and original campus village of Fort Wayne, known as the North Anthony Corridor - home to some of Fort Wayne’s most beloved boutique shops and restaurants.

NOTE: To protect and preserve all original artwork on display and our property, we do NOT host the following: weddings, wedding receptions, 21st birthday parties with alcohol service or children’s birthday parties for 14 years old or younger.

The Garden has three unique areas - The Gallery, The Veranda and The Terrace. When you rent the venue, you have access to the ENTIRE space since all areas share the same set of unisex ADA-compliant restrooms. The venue also has two “bonus rooms” as we like to call them:
The Vault (yes, literally the old bank fault) - a super cozy favorite of the space which is ideal for photo booths.
The Sunken Library (where the former bank’s tellers used to stand) - a room enveloped in steps with a flat screen Apple TV - perfect for showing looping slideshows).

The Garden is a wonderful option for small to mid-size gatherings. For private rentals, our versatile furniture is as flexible as the needs of your event (including 4 custom-made rolling food & drink service tables, 8-4ft circular tables, 60 chairs, etc.). With complimentary WiFi, a projector, dimmable lighting, and an incredible house sound system throughout the building inside and out and 3 handheld wireless mic options, each area of the building can be sonically and visually controlled and utilized exactly as you see fit. Psst - we also have a rentable portable PA.
Licensed caterers can be hired for food and drink service. Linens, silverware, centerpieces and additional tables/seating can be hired by providers of your choice. The Garden is generally available to rent from 7:00am to 11:59pm daily. Holidays, special events and regular programming may restrict availability. Garden Hosts are present during the entirety of all rentals in order to maintain venue and guest health and safety, as well as to ensure that venue guidelines, state laws, etc. are adhered to.

The Space
THE GALLERY
The main indoor space at our venue is an open-concept, 2703 sq ft rectangular room with impressive monthly rotating art on display. At The Garden you are free to choose food vendors of your choice and rentals have full use of our modern kitchenette which is equipped with a stainless steel sink, fridge, freezer and microwave, as well as a pro-grade coffee maker.

the veranda
The inviting 1047 sq ft veranda is enclosed by 4 gorgeous glass pull-down garage doors. In cold months, the veranda is warmed by portable propane fire pits and tall heaters. In warm months, this area is cooled by 3 ceiling fans and a fabulous natural cross-breeze. Additionally, there is soft grassy knoll facing North Anthony for overflow seating (intense games of cornhole have also been known to happen here).

the terrace
The outdoor stamped concrete patio space is an 800 sq ft area for great outdoor conversations and fun. The patio has a built-in metallic silver table railing, stools, and outdoor furniture seating options.
In warm months, the grassy strip located between the patio and the parking lot is a great location for outdoor yard games or just simply relaxing.
